babyB : “Daddy, daddy! I want some sambucus, please !”
daddy : “Really? And where should I get that from?” (looking at me with a raised eyebrow)
me : “That’s the Latin for elderberry flowers.”
daddy : “Ok, now we are also teaching her Latin? English was not enough?”
What actually happened : baby B asked me “What is this?” pointing to the elder flowers and I didn’t know the English word
so I quickly searched for it and Wikipedia gave me the answer – the first word.I said it loud right away.

Natural probiotics? Most of us think that they are something found in yogurt alone.
Well … here you are, another option – elderberry flower fizzy drink:
– 6 elderberry flowers
– 4 Liters water
– 2 lemons (peeled to avoid the pesticides)
– 200 g honey
Add all ingredients to a glass jar and let them ferment for 2-3 days. Add more honey when serving it.
