Oats and milk


I may not cut the onion like the best chef, I may not have the most fancy schmancy apron in the world (in fact I really don’t have one at all) but my food tastes divine.

How is that ? Because I add my love to it.
– 1 cup steel cut oats (soaked overnight in 1 Tbsp lemon juice/yogurt/whey and 1 cup warm water – process described by Sally Fallon in “Nourishing Traditions”)
– 2 cups coconut milk or water
– raw vanilla (1/2 pod)
– fresh fruits (strawberry and banana)
– date paste to taste (replace with honey if desired)

Boil the oats in coconut milk or water add sweetner and/or fresh fruits. Eat yum yum.
